Strong gale winds remain in Cyprus on May 3
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, May 3, a weak low pressure will affect the region. Very strong westerly winds remain in the country.
Today in the first half of the day the weather will be mostly sunny, although initially in the west and then in the southeast there will be temporary cloudiness.
Temperatures this afternoon are forecast to rise to 29C in inland areas, 31C in the south-east and east coast, 25C on other coasts and 20C in mountainous areas, the Met Office said.
By evening the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be a temporary increase in cloudiness in the west and north. The air temperature will drop to 18°C on the west coast, to 17 degrees on other coasts and to 10°C in mountainous areas.
Until Sunday, the air temperature will gradually drop noticeably and fluctuate below average climatic values, and on Monday it will rise slightly.
