In Cyprus, a man died under his own tractor
An accident occurred in Nicosia, resulting in the death of a tractor driver. The man attempted to stop his own tractor.
According to local media, the tragedy happened in Nicosia around 10 a.m. Georgios Michail, 79 years old, from Ayios Ioannis Malountas, parked his car, but for an unknown reason, the tractor started moving down the street.
Police stated that apparently, the tractor driver tried to stop the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. The victim was taken to Nicosia General Hospital. Despite all efforts to save him, it was unsuccessful: around 12:00, doctors pronounced the man dead.
The police continue their investigation.
