Georgian Citizen Wanted by Cyprus Police
The Cyprus Police have issued a wanted notice for a 51-year-old Georgian citizen who is suspected of committing serious crimes.
According to the police press office, the man in question is Gocha Askilashvili, born in 1972. He is wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into serious crimes committed between May 15 and May 18, 2024, in the Paphos area.
A court-issued arrest warrant has been obtained for the suspect.
The police have released a photograph and further details about the suspect.
Anyone with information that could help locate him is urged to contact the Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) in Paphos at 26-806021, their nearest police station, or the citizens' line at 1460, according to the police statement.
