Cyprus will host the International Short Film Festival
The Greek International Drama Short Film Festival will come to Cyprus. You can watch the best short films for free from February 26 to 28 in Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia, and Paphos.
One of the most authoritative Short Film Festivals is held annually in Greece in September. This parallel event of the DISFF On The Road festival ensures film screenings in Greece, Cyprus, and worldwide, distributing the works of young talented directors.
Representatives of the festival and directors of award-winning short films will participate in the screenings in Cyprus, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. In particular, artistic director of DISFF Yannis Sakaridis will attend, as well as directors Neritan Zinxhiria ("The Light of Light") and Alexis Kukias Pantelis ("Aerolin").
Larnaca will host the festival's films on February 26 at the Skala Municipal Theatre at 20:30. Screenings will take place at the House of Arts and Literature in Paphos on February 26 and 28 at 19:30, while viewers in Nicosia and Limassol can enjoy the films on February 27 and 28 at the Pantheon and Rialto cinemas.
It is noted that among the award-winning short films is the Cypriot film "BufferZone" directed by Savvas Stavrou.
