Cyprus to Host Several Summer Beer Festivals
This summer, Cyprus will host several beer festivals, popular among brewing enthusiasts. Some of these events are annual traditions, while one is set to debut this year.
The 5th MED Fest Limassol Beer Festival will take place from July 23 to 27, transforming the My Mall Limassol parking lot into a hub of beer culture. Festival-goers can expect a wide selection of craft beers, both local and international. The event will also feature live performances by well-known names from the Greek music scene. The lineup of participants for this year has yet to be announced.
The Beer Festival in the village of Tymbou, located between Kakopetria and Evrychou, will be held on July 27 at the village square, starting at 16:30. The festival is organized by the Tymbou Youth Council and the local Sports Union. This one-day event will offer visitors the chance to embark on a summer mountain adventure, enjoying cold beer, live music, souvlaki, burgers, hot dogs, pancakes, loukoumades, and much more. Participation fee is 5 euros.
Additionally, from August 2 to 4, the 7th Beer Phelstival will take place at the Cultural Center of Pelendri village. The beer festival will gather residents and guests to enjoy a wide variety of dishes, live music, and numerous types of beer served in barrels and bottles.
Two more beer festivals will wrap up the summer season. The Paphos Beer Festival will be held from August 22 to 25 in front of the medieval castle.
And the largest beer event in Nicosia, SeptemberFest, will take place this year from August 30 to September 5.
