Military Maritime Exercise Held in Cyprus with the Participation of the Italian Navy
Military maritime cooperation exercises took place in the maritime zone of Cyprus, featuring the participation of the Italian frigate "ITS CARLO MARGOTTINI."
According to the statement, the exercises were planned by the Naval Administration (NA) in collaboration with the Italian Navy. The exercise involved the support ship ALASIA and the Italian frigate. The maneuver scenario included tactical movements, advanced maneuvers, technical exercises, and communication drills.
During the port call in Limassol, a delegation of representatives from the National Guard visited the Italian frigate. In the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Cyprus, Federico Ferrari Bravo, the guests were briefed on the purpose and capabilities of the military ship.
"The exercises are considered particularly valuable as they help improve operational compatibility, exchange know-how for performing military maritime operations, and at the same time emphasize the excellent relations that have developed between the Armed Forces of the two countries," the statement said.
