Cyprus will establish an office for confiscated Russian goods
In the Republic of Cyprus, with the support of the EU, an office will be created for confiscated Russian goods. It will be responsible for managing assets of Russian citizens or citizens of other countries frozen or seized as a result of sanctions or within the framework of money laundering investigations.
According to Greek media reports, the Greek authorities have currently frozen around 1.2 billion euros belonging to Russians.
It is also reported that since the start of hostilities in Ukraine, the number of companies included in the US and UK sanctions list in the Republic of Cyprus has reached 140.
