Traffic enforcement cameras have been activated at the site of a deadly accident in Limassol that claimed four lives. With these latest installations, the city has now completed the rollout of all fixed cameras in its automated traffic monitoring system.

The two new cameras went live on Tuesday, March 4, at the intersection of Nikos Kranidiotis Avenue and Agia Anastasia Street in Polemidia. They will monitor and record traffic violations, including running red lights, crossing stop lines, and speeding.

This location was the scene of a tragic crash on New Year’s Eve 2024, in which four people lost their lives.
