On the Nicosia-Limassol highway, eight cars collided, followed by another three
This morning, two major accidents occurred on the highway between Nicosia and Limassol with a difference of one and a half hours. In the first accident, eight cars collided, and in the second - another three.
According to the police press service, the accidents occurred near Ayios Tychonas with a one-and-a-half-hour difference. The first accident happened around 7:30 in the morning. As a result of the collision of eight cars, no one was injured. The vehicles sustained minor damage.
The second incident occurred around 9 in the morning: almost at the same place, another three cars collided with each other. As a result of the accident, four passengers were injured, all of whom were taken to Limassol General Hospital for examination.
The police quickly arrived at the scene. At the moment, the road is already open to traffic.
