Paralimni Expects a 6% Increase in Tourism
The Cypriot region of Paralimni is anticipating a rise in tourist arrivals this upcoming season. Mayor Giorgos Nikolettos made the announcement during the ITB tourism exhibition in Berlin.
According to Nikolettos, the number of visitors to the Paralimni-Deryneia municipality is expected to grow by approximately 6% this season. Additionally, tourism from the German market is projected to increase by 9%.
Authorities believe interest in the region continues to rise, stating that "this year's summer outlook is particularly promising."
The mayor emphasized that participating in the Berlin tourism fair provides an excellent opportunity to promote the region and work towards extending the tourist season.
"Through coordinated and collective efforts, we are strengthening Paralimni-Deryneia's position on the global tourism map and creating new opportunities for sustainable tourism development," Nikolettos stated.
