Three More Arrested in Limassol in Connection with 70 kg Drug Seizure
Limassol police have detained three additional suspects in relation to the seizure of a massive drug haul last August, during which approximately 70 kilograms of illegal substances were confiscated.
According to a police statement, the latest arrests involve two men, aged 20 and 26, and a 23-year-old woman. The suspects were brought before the Limassol District Court, which ordered their detention for five days as investigations continue.
The initial drug bust took place on August 21 in Limassol, when police discovered over 70 kilograms of various illegal substances inside a parked vehicle.
Prior to these latest arrests, four other suspects had already been taken into custody in connection with the case. The Limassol Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) is leading the investigation.
