Attempted Double Stabbing in Paphos: Attacker Surrenders to Police

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in the village of Chloraka, in the Paphos district, on suspicion of attempted murder. The man reportedly stabbed two women inside a pharmacy before turning himself in to police.

According to police reports, the incident took place around 10:00 a.m. The suspect, a Limassol resident, allegedly attacked the 33-year-old pharmacy owner and a 24-year-old employee with a knife.

Both women sustained stab wounds to various parts of their bodies and were rushed to Paphos General Hospital. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police were alerted by a passerby and responded immediately, securing the scene and launching an investigation.

A short time later, the suspect voluntarily walked into a police station and confessed to the attack, reportedly citing personal disagreements as his motive.
