Three Arrested During Limassol Carnival Parade
On Sunday evening, police arrested three individuals during the Limassol carnival parade—one for carrying knives and two for drug possession.
According to a police spokesperson, officers were dispatched to the scene of a brawl, where they detained a Greek Cypriot man for obstructing law enforcement.
Upon searching the suspect, officers found two knives in his possession. He was immediately taken into custody and transferred to Limassol Police Headquarters for further investigation.
In a separate incident, officers spotted two young men acting suspiciously among the crowd. A search revealed that the 20-year-old and 21-year-old suspects were carrying a significant quantity of drugs. Both were arrested on the spot.
