Cyprus police have apprehended a dangerous fugitive wanted since January 17th. The 34-year-old woman and her accomplice were found at a hotel in Larnaca.
During the operation to apprehend the criminals conducted by the Larnaca police, a stolen car, various stolen items, and a small quantity of drugs were discovered.
Two individuals have also been arrested, pending court orders for their detention. They are a 34-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both wanted for various crimes including illegal possession and transportation of firearms and explosives, as well as carrying weapons with the intent to incite terror.
It is clarified that this is the same 34-year-old woman who was reported missing on January 17, 2024.
The suspects were found and arrested in a hotel room in Larnaca. During the search of the hotel room, cash, electronic devices, jewelry, and other valuables, presumably stolen, were found. Four nylon packages containing a total of two grams of methamphetamine were also found.
A parked car near the hotel, presumably used by the detainees, was discovered. The car has been reported stolen since January 17, 2024.
Various items, including a sword and an ax, were found during a search inside the car.
Both arrested individuals have been remanded in custody for further investigation, which is being conducted by the Oroklini Police Station in cooperation with the Larnaca Police Department.
