The Cyprus Police is identifying the identity of the deceased man in a traffic accident
The Republic of Cyprus Police is investigating the details of another fatal traffic accident. In yesterday's accident involving a car and a tanker truck, an unidentified man died.
Recall that a major accident occurred yesterday morning on the Nicosia — Palechorio road. Due to the collision of a car with a tanker truck, the road was closed for several hours.
According to preliminary data, the car driven by the unidentified individual collided with the tanker truck for circumstances yet to be determined. Next to the accident site, the body of the unknown man was found. Investigators are currently determining whether this person was the driver of the car involved in the accident.
The identity of the deceased will be established through a DNA test after the autopsy, which will take place today at the Nicosia General Hospital.
