Police caught suspects in arson of betting shops in Nicosia
The police of the Republic of Cyprus identified and detained two suspects in the arson of two betting shops in Nicosia. Both alleged arsonists have been taken into custody for further investigation.
According to the police press service, as part of the investigation into two cases of betting shop arsons that occurred in Nicosia on April 8th and 9th, two suspects were arrested yesterday evening.
The likely culprits turned out to be two men aged 31 and 42, who were taken into custody to facilitate the investigation.
It is expected that they will appear before the Nicosia District Court today for the issuance of an arrest warrant.
