Dust in Cyprus will settle by evening: Weather forecast for May 23rd
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Thursday, May 23rd, the region will experience weak low pressure. Dust remains in the air, and its concentration may increase, but a gradual decrease is expected towards the evening.
During the first half of the day, the weather will mainly be clear. Later in the day, some localized cloudiness is possible in inland areas and southeast regions. The forecast anticipates increased low clouds appearing on the western and northern coasts.
Daytime temperatures will rise to 34°C in inland areas, 26°C on the western coast, 29°C on other coasts, and 25°C in mountainous regions, according to the meteorological service.
By evening, locally increased cloudiness will be observed in the west and north, while the weather will remain mostly clear in other areas. Air temperatures will drop to 18°C inland, on the southern, northern, and eastern coasts, to 21°C on the western coast, and to 12°C in mountainous regions.
In the coming days, air temperatures will significantly decrease, fluctuating below average climatic values.
