Dust gradually recedes, heat persists: weather in Cyprus on April 4th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, April 4th, weak high pressure predominates in the region. Light dust persists in the atmosphere, which will gradually dissipate tonight.

Today, during the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear. However, localized increases in low cloudiness may be observed mainly in the southeast regions.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature will rise to 31°C in the inland areas, up to 24 degrees on the west coast, up to 26 degrees on the other coasts, and up to 21°C in mountainous areas.

By evening, the weather will still be mostly clear. However, later on the west coast, low cloudiness may increase.

The air temperature will drop to about 11°C in inland areas and on the coast, and to 7°C in mountainous areas.

It is expected that in the coming days, the temperature will gradually decrease noticeably, fluctuating slightly above average climatic values.

It is worth reminding that yesterday residents of Cyprus were advised to refrain from outdoor walks due to high dust concentration in the atmosphere.
