Dust, Winds, Rain, and Frost in the Mountains: Cyprus Weather Forecast for April 9
The Cyprus Department of Meteorology reports that a system of moderately low atmospheric pressure is affecting the region on Tuesday, April 8.
This morning will bring partly cloudy skies with medium to high-level cloud cover. Light, isolated showers are possible early in the day, and a slight presence of dust is expected in the atmosphere.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach around 24°C inland, 21°C along the coasts, and 15°C in the mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. Overnight temperatures will fall to around 11°C inland, 13°C along the coast, and just 2°C in the mountains, where frost is likely in some areas.
Looking ahead to Thursday, increased cloud cover is expected in certain regions. Sleet may fall on the highest peaks of the Troodos Mountains. Temperatures will drop further and fall below seasonal averages. No significant changes in weather conditions are expected on Friday or Saturday.
