The President of Germany will visit the Republic of Cyprus
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Cyprus from February 11th to 13th at the invitation of President Nikos Christodoulidis.
This will be the first visit by a German President since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Upon arrival, a welcoming ceremony will take place, followed by a joint press statement by the leaders of the two states.
The German leader's itinerary also includes visits to the House of Representatives, the Goethe Institute, and the village of Lefkara. He will also meet with UNFICYP peacekeepers and have dinner at the Presidential Palace.
