Russian footballer scores the fastest goal in the history of the Cypriot championship
Russian forward of the football club "Aris" Alexander Kokorin scored the fastest goal in the history of the Cypriot championship. The forward scored in the 12th second of the "Limassol derby" against AEL.
The match took place yesterday as part of the 26th round of the Cypriot championship. In the 6th minute of the match, Alexander Kokorin scored a brace. Thanks to the two goals from the Russian forward, "Aris" achieved a crushing victory with a score of 4-0 in the crucial match.
Recall that earlier the Union of Sports Journalists of Cyprus named Alexander Kokorin the best footballer of the country in 2023.
In September of last year, "Fiorentina" once again loaned Alexander Kokorin to "Aris". As a result, last season, the 32-year-old Russian was recognized as the best player of the Cypriot championship. The footballer played 21 matches for "Aris", scored 5 goals, and made 2 assists.
