Students Injured in Limassol Car Crash: 18-Year-Old Girl in Critical Condition
A serious car accident in Limassol has left an 18-year-old girl in critical condition after a group of university students crashed into a pole late last night.
According to police, the crash occurred when a 19-year-old driver lost control of his car and collided with a pole. Two 18-year-old female passengers were also in the vehicle at the time.
Emergency responders transported all three students from the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) to Limassol General Hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, one of the 18-year-old girls was later transferred to Nicosia General Hospital with a serious head injury. Her condition remains critical.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
