Temperature to Rise to 41°C: Weather in Cyprus on August 16
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, August 16, the region will continue to be affected by seasonal low pressure and warm air masses.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be occasional low clouds along the western coast. In the afternoon, clouds are expected to bring isolated showers.
According to the meteorological service forecast, the temperature during the day will rise to 41°C in the inland areas, 33°C on the western and southwestern coasts, around 36°C on the northern coast, 35°C on the remaining coasts, and 31°C in the mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, though there may be a local increase in low clouds along the coasts.
The temperature will drop to 24°C in the inland areas, on the western, southwestern, and northern coasts, 25°C on the other coasts, and 22°C in the mountainous areas.
It is expected that on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the weather will remain mostly clear, though Saturday afternoon may see increased cloudiness in some areas. The temperature will remain roughly at the same levels until Sunday, with a slight decrease on Monday, but will continue to be above average climate values.
