Air Temperature to Reach 42°C on July 22: Weather Forecast for Cyprus
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, July 22nd, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure and warm air.
In the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, though increased cloudiness is expected in some areas.
The Meteorological Service forecasts that today's air temperature will rise to 42°C in inland areas, up to 34°C on the West Coast, up to 38°C on other coasts, and up to 32°C in mountainous regions. By evening, the weather will remain predominantly clear. Localized thin fog and low clouds are expected in the morning hours.
During the night, the air temperature will drop to 27°C in inland areas, around 24°C on the West Coast, around 26°C on other coasts, and down to 22°C in mountainous regions.
On Tuesday, the air temperature is not expected to change significantly and will remain well above average climatic values, but on Wednesday and Thursday, it will gradually decrease slightly.
