Explosion of Homemade Bomb at Residential Building in Limassol
Another explosion occurred in Cyprus. A homemade explosive device detonated in Limassol.
According to the police press service, the explosion occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the Ayia Fila area. The homemade explosive device was planted at the entrance of a building belonging to a 67-year-old woman. As a result of the explosion, the entrance door was damaged.
Preliminary data suggest that a "homemade explosive metallic object" was placed in front of the woman's entrance door.
Police officers who arrived at the scene sealed off the area. The investigation is ongoing.
