Section of Limassol Bypass Road to be Closed for Repairs
A section of the Limassol Bypass Road will be closed on Tuesday evening for roadworks.
According to the Department of Public Works, road repairs will take place from 22:00 to 5:00 between the roundabouts of Linopetra and Germasoyia in the direction of Nicosia. The works involve replacing road signs.
During the road closure, traffic will be redirected through the Linopetra roundabout, Agios Athanasios Avenue, Spyros Kyprianou Avenue (Kolonaki), and the Germasoyia roundabout.
Night roadworks also continue on the highway section from the GSP Stadium roundabout to the Kalamon Overpass in Strovolos at the entrance to Nicosia. Maintenance works on the road surface are carried out from 20:00 to 5:30 in the morning.
Roadworks on the Limassol - Nicosia highway at the entrance to Nicosia started on Monday and are expected to be completed by Thursday, February 29th. They affect the bypass road of the GSP Stadium, as well as the Kalamon Overpass in both directions.
Since Monday, night roadworks have been carried out in Strovolos - on Alexandroupoleos, Pifonos, and Kantara avenues, as well as on the road to the Presidential Palace, from the presidential roundabout to the intersection with Agii Omologites Street.
