6th Honey and Beekeeping Festival to Be Held in a Village Near Larnaca
This weekend, Cyprus will host the 6th Honey and Beekeeping Festival. The annual event will take place on Sunday, June 30, from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the mountain village of Odou.
For the sixth consecutive year, the beekeeping villages of rural Larnaca are inviting guests to the Honey and Beekeeping Festival.
Visitors to the festival can enjoy a fun-filled day in nature while learning about the life of bees and the wonderful properties of honey.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of honey-based products and other beekeeping products such as pollen, royal jelly, wax, and propolis. In addition to bee-related activities, guests will get to explore the village of Odou and its charming hidden spots.
Over 25 producers will participate in the festival, showcasing their honey-related products. Visitors will be offered a wide selection of gastronomic delicacies, as well as beauty and health products made from honey.
The festival will kick off at 10:30 AM with a series of workshops for children and adults, including treasure hunts, cooking demonstrations, and a rich entertainment program featuring music and dancing.
Admission to the Honey and Beekeeping Festival in the village of Odou, in the Larnaca district, will be free.
