In the village near Paphos, a new bronze sculpture has appeared
Another bronze sculpture has been installed in Cyprus, this time unveiled in the village of Tala near Paphos.
The artistic installation "Girl with White Doves" is made of bronze, natural stone, and water. The statue is placed on a large rock under the open sky at the roundabout connecting the village center to the Monastery of St. Neophytos and the Community Center in Tala, Leptos Kamares Village.
The author of the sculptural composition is the sculptor Yota Ioannidou.
According to the head of the community, Areti Pieridou, the project aims to emphasize the connection between the village residents and nature, as well as to draw the attention of the island's inhabitants to the issue of disappearing springs in the vicinity of Tala.
It is expected that the official opening of the new art object will take place next week.
