On Tuesday evening of Holy Week, a car accident in Paphos left six people injured, including three children. Accidents are unfortunately common in this area, with incidents occurring almost daily.

According to the police, the accident took place at the intersection of Ellados Avenue and Petridia and Dimokratias Avenues. The crash involved a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old woman and another car driven by an 18-year-old man.

The woman's car contained her three children — two 7-year-old girls and a 5-year-old boy — along with their 69-year-old grandmother.

All six individuals were rushed to the hospital by ambulance. The three children were transferred to the Makarios Children’s Hospital.

Thankfully, all the people involved in the accident sustained only minor injuries.
