Another Night of Car Fires in Larnaca
For the second night in a row, parked cars in Larnaca have gone up in flames. Just like the previous night, the fire started in one vehicle before spreading to another nearby.
According to Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the blaze was reported around 2:00 AM. Two fire crews were dispatched to the scene, where a privately owned car, parked in an open lot, was already burning.
The fire caused extensive damage, particularly to the engine compartment. A small commercial vehicle parked nearby was also affected. Authorities sealed off the area, and police launched an investigation in the morning.
It’s worth noting that a similar incident occurred the night before, when a burning car set fire to a neighboring vehicle.
