Limassol School Targeted Twice: Money for Christmas Photos Stolen
Primary School No. 7 in Limassol was struck by two criminal incidents over recent days. Vandals first damaged the school building, and later, thieves broke in and stole funds collected for Christmas photographs.
The initial incident occurred on Thursday evening, when unidentified individuals broke into the school, damaged the art classroom door, and scattered furniture and other belongings across the room.
The second incident took place on Friday evening. Burglars entered the school corridor, discovered a set of keys, and used them to access classrooms.
Their loot included several envelopes containing approximately 200 euros, which students had gathered to pay for their Christmas photos. Before leaving, the culprits caused further damage by discharging fire extinguishers throughout the premises.
