Two Cars Destroyed in an Overnight Fire in Limassol
In the early hours of Monday, firefighters were called to the Zakaki area of Limassol after a car parked outside its owners’ home caught fire. The blaze quickly spread to a neighboring vehicle, damaging both cars.
According to the police press office, the fire started at approximately 1:00 a.m. Fire crews arrived swiftly, cordoned off the area, and secured the scene. Investigations into the cause of the fire began early Monday morning.
Preliminary findings suggest that the first vehicle, which was completely burned, belonged to a 29-year-old woman. However, it was primarily used by her 33-year-old husband, who owns a customs clearance and transportation business.
The second vehicle damaged in the fire was owned by the businessman’s mother.
