In Limassol, the police seized over five kilograms of cannabis
The Narcotics Control Service (YKAN) detained two individuals in Limassol with a large quantity of narcotics.
According to the police press service, the two suspects, aged 48 and 30, were arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the province of Limassol.
Around 16:00, YKAN officers stopped a car with two suspects, with the 30-year-old man behind the wheel, for inspection. During the search of the car, six nylon bags containing cannabis with a total weight of about 5 kilograms and 300 grams were found inside a cardboard box under the driver's seat.
The 48-year-old and 30-year-old men were taken into custody for investigation into the drug trafficking case.
