In Limassol, the police confiscated cocaine, amphetamines, and a significant amount of cash
In Limassol, law enforcement officers detained a man found in possession of various drugs and a substantial sum of money. During a search of his vehicle, cocaine, codeine, amphetamines, and €25,000 were discovered.
According to police sources, the car driven by a 31-year-old man was stopped for inspection by National Police officers the previous day.
During the search, authorities found 21 packages of cocaine weighing approximately 16 grams, 4 packages of ketamine weighing about 5.5 grams, 3 packages of amphetamines weighing about three grams, and €25,140 in cash.
Further investigation at the man's residence uncovered an additional 5 packets containing approximately 10 grams of cocaine, a packet of cannabis weighing about 7 grams, accurate scales, and 13 electronic cigarettes containing 26 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol.
The 31-year-old suspect has been arrested for drug possession and has been remanded in custody.
