New Traffic Cameras to Be Installed in Limassol
New stationary traffic enforcement cameras are set to go live in Limassol. Starting Monday, these cameras will begin operating at the intersection of Spyros Kyprianou Avenue and Ayias Filaxeos Avenue.
According to the police, three new stationary cameras will be installed at this controlled intersection. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to reduce fatal accidents and improve road safety.
The cameras will monitor various traffic violations, including running red lights, crossing the white stop line, and speeding.
Additionally, several stationary cameras are already in operation at various locations across Limassol. You can find them at the intersections of Archbishop Makarios III and Despina, Nicou Pattichi, Archbishop Leontiou and Franklin Roosevelt, Omonia, and 28 October and Iakovos Tombazis.
