A restaurant burned down in Limassol early in the morning
On Thursday early in the morning, a restaurant in the Pissouri area of Limassol caught fire. The establishment suffered serious damage, and the causes of the fire are being investigated.
According to emergency services, the fire in the restaurant broke out around 5:13 am. Two fire trucks from the British base and one from the Monovolikos fire station arrived to help. According to the fire department, the fire was promptly brought under control.
As a result of the incident, the fire spread inside the restaurant, damaging some equipment, but the premises of the establishment also suffered from smoke and heat.
The cause of the fire will be determined today during the day.
