In Limassol, a 15-meter boat caught fire
The Fire Service of the Republic of Cyprus was alerted on Thursday afternoon. In Limassol, near the Karnagio area, an abandoned boat caught fire.
Two fire engines extinguished the blazing vessel. The fire was brought under control without the risk of spreading to other boats.
Andreas Kettis, a representative of the Fire Service, informed X that the boat was an immobile vessel approximately 15 meters long.
According to him, the boat was engulfed in flames despite efforts by two fire engines to extinguish the fire. As a result of the incident, the boat completely burned down. The cause of the fire is unknown.
