Body of Homeless Foreigner Left in Paphos Morgue for Four Months
A body of a homeless foreigner has been in the morgue of Paphos General Hospital for more than four months. The body was discovered in early September.

According to local media, the deceased was a 53-year-old homeless man from Romania. For a long time, he had sought refuge in makeshift shelters in the Timi area. Several local residents had helped him in whatever way they could. One of them eventually took on the responsibility of organizing his funeral.
Following a request from citizens, the Geroskipou municipality decided to provide a burial plot for the deceased foreigner. The police are now awaiting approval from the man’s daughter to proceed.
