Several areas in Paphos will experience power outages on Saturday. Here is the list of affected districts
The Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) has announced a temporary interruption of electricity supply in Paphos. There will be power cuts for several hours in various parts of the city.
According to the announcement, on Saturday, March 30, from 07:00 to 11:00, the following areas will be affected:
- Saint Barbara (including the industrial zone)
- Northeastern part of the Eastern Industrial Zone
- Northeastern part of Timi
- Northeastern part of Anarita
- KEN Anaritas
Additionally, the following areas will also experience power outages: Nata, Choletria, Stavrokonnou, Kelokedara, Agia Marina Kelokedaro, Amargeti, Aksilou, Elea, Pentalia, Koilinia, Galataria, Statos, Ambelitis, Panagia, Falia, Houlou, Lemona, Kurdaka, Pitargou, Letimbu, and most of Kallepia.
As there is no guarantee that the power interruption will last the entire duration mentioned above, consumers should be aware that their premises will remain electrified.
The electricity cut is necessary for maintenance work on high-voltage equipment at the EAST power substation. Authorities apologize for any inconvenience caused.
