Overnight Explosion Rocks Residential Area in Nicosia
An explosion went off outside a residential building in Nicosia during the early hours of the morning. Thankfully, no one was injured, though the blast caused significant property damage.
According to the police press office, authorities received an emergency call at 4:15 a.m. The 54-year-old homeowner reported that an explosion had occurred around 3:30 a.m. near the entrance to his house.
Police officers responded swiftly, securing the scene and launching an investigation. Initial findings revealed extensive damage to the front of the home. No injuries were reported.
The area remains cordoned off as investigations continue.
