On November 27, Nicosia will host the 2nd Greek-Cypriot intergovernmental summit. This announcement was made during a media briefing at the Presidential Palace by Cyprus's government spokesperson, Constantinos Letymbiotis.

Following his return from the United States, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, met with the Prime Minister of Greece in Athens. Their discussions centered on the agenda items in anticipation of the upcoming intergovernmental summit.

The spokesperson also noted that the President briefed the Greek Prime Minister on the outcomes of his meeting with the U.S. President, as well as a joint meeting with Turkish-Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, which took place on October 15.

As a result of this recent meeting, it was decided to convene an expanded session involving the guarantor states—Turkey and Greece.
