Eight Illegal Immigrants from Asia and Africa Arrested in Paphos
Eight individuals have been arrested in Paphos for residing illegally in Cyprus. The operation was conducted by the Foreign and Immigration Affairs Service.
The arrests were the result of an investigation by the Foreign Affairs Service in Paphos, which identified people living in the country without the required residence permits.
According to Michalis Nicolaou, Assistant Director of the Paphos Police Operations Department, the detained group comprises four men and four women, with six individuals from Asia and two from Africa.
Today, the arrested individuals will appear before the Paphos District Court for a remand hearing, initiating the process for their repatriation.
