The police have arrested three suspects in a series of church robberies in the Paphos area. At the end of January and the beginning of February, ten church break-ins occurred: money and various religious artifacts were stolen.

Following the investigation, the police identified two male suspects aged 20 and 16. They were detained the day before in a car driven by a 25-year-old driver, who was also arrested.

During the search, various items were found on the driver, the origin of which he could not explain, including gilded gold, coins, watches, and other valuable items.

Tools that could have been used in the break-ins were also found in the car: gloves, masks, coins, and other items. All three remain in custody as the police investigation continues.
