Two Children on Bicycles Hit by a Car in Paphos
Two children riding their bicycles in Paphos were struck by a car and subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to the police press office, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM. A 32-year-old man, under yet-to-be-determined circumstances, hit the two children, aged 12 and 14, with his vehicle. An ambulance arrived promptly at the scene and transported the injured children to the hospital.
The on-duty doctor reported that the 14-year-old sustained a fractured right ankle and suffered abrasions, while the 12-year-old sustained abrasions on their legs.
The driver was given an alcohol test, which came back negative. The Paphos Traffic Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
