In Paphos, 16 More Traffic Violation Cameras Will Be Put into Operation

The photo-monitoring system will be expanded to the Paphos area starting from next Monday, January 22. In total, 16 fixed cameras will operate at five locations.

It is reported that four cameras will be installed at the intersection of Europe Avenue, Giannou Kranidiotis Avenue, and Georgios Savvas Avenue. They will capture drivers' compliance with traffic signals, stop lines at intersections, and speed limits.

The same violations will also be checked by four devices at the intersection of Ellados Avenue, Dimokratias Avenue, and Tasos Papadopoulos Avenue. Additionally, four devices will be installed at the intersection of Agios Anargyros Avenue and Spyros Kyprianou Avenue with Agapinoros Street.

Two more cameras will appear at the intersection of Athinon Avenue and Christodoulos Sozos Avenue, as well as at the intersection of Chlorakas Avenue and Griva Digeni Avenue with Agios Georgiou Street.

It is noted that mobile cameras for speed control are already in use in the Paphos area.
