Orthodox Church in TRNC to Celebrate Epiphany
The Orthodox Church in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. On Monday, January 6, 2025, a Divine Liturgy will be held at the Holy Trinity Church of Agios Tirsos.
"On Monday, January 6th, the Divine Liturgy will be held at Agia Triada Church to celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, presided over by Bishop Christophoros of Karpassos," the community statement says.
The service will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 10:30 a.m. Afterward, the traditional blessing of the waters will take place at the Agios Tirsos stream.
Additionally, buses will be provided for worshippers if needed.
