In the suburb of Nicosia, an explosion occurred in a motorcycle shop
Another explosive device went off in Cyprus last night. This time, the explosion occurred near a motorcycle shop in the suburb of Nicosia, Engomi.
According to the police press service, the explosion occurred late Friday night, between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m., near a motorcycle sales shop on Archangelos Avenue. As a result of the homemade explosive device detonation, the entrance area of the shop was damaged, the facade was destroyed, and the building's windows were shattered.
Police arrived at the scene. Criminal investigation officers cordoned off the area adjacent to the shop. The investigation is ongoing.
Recall that the day before, there were reports of an explosion at a real estate agency office in Limassol.
