Two Cars Set on Fire in Strovolos Last Night
Another incident of vehicle arson occurred last night in Cyprus. Two cars were burned near a residential building in Strovolos.
According to police reports, the fire broke out around 2 AM. Police and fire services promptly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. One car was completely destroyed, while the other sustained partial damage.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire started in a car exclusively used by a 27-year-old man. The flames then spread to the front of another car belonging to his father, resulting in the complete destruction of the first vehicle.
The investigation has indicated that arson is likely the cause of the fire. Investigations resumed in the morning, and throughout the night, the incident site remained cordoned off and under police guard.
