High pressure and brief rain in the mountains: weather in Cyprus on December 25th
According to the data from the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, December 25th, the region is influenced by weak high pressure.
Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear. In the west, and later in the mountains and inland areas, there will be increased cloudiness. Brief rain is possible in mountainous areas. The wind will mainly blow from the southwest to the northwest.
According to the meteorological forecast, today, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 21°C inland, on the western, southwest, and northern coasts, approximately up to 23°C on the other coasts, and up to 14°C in mountainous areas.
By the evening, increased cloudiness is expected in the west, and later in inland areas and in the east, local fog and low cloudiness will form.
The air temperature will drop to around 8°C inland, 12°C on the western coast, 10°C on the other coasts, and approximately 5°C in mountainous areas.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be predominantly clear, although increased cloudiness is possible during the day. Thin fog and low cloudiness may form in the morning hours in some places.
Over the course of three days, the temperature will not change significantly and will fluctuate above the average climatic values.
