41 Undocumented Migrants Detained in Cyprus in a Single Day
In a series of nationwide raids conducted yesterday, police in the Republic of Cyprus detained 41 foreign nationals found to be residing in the country illegally.

A statement from the police confirmed that the detainees came from various countries, although specific nationalities were not disclosed. Authorities immediately began the repatriation process for all those detained.
Since the start of the year, Cypriot authorities have identified and repatriated 9,268 individuals who were living in the country without proper documentation.
